Silver Forest jewelry is enchanting, playful, full of color and texture. We believe that the difference is in the details. Their jewelry is made using quality materials and lovingly handcrafted in Southern Vermont. Silver Forest believes that their earrings are about much more than accessorizing. They’re about feeling beautiful, uplifted and confident. They’re about expressing your true self.
Their mission is simple—to create wearable art that is as timeless and unique as you.
Their ear wires are surgical steel or surgical steel with a 18k gold overlay. There is no nickel used in our plating process.
They use genuine semi-precious stones. We also use glass beads, natural materials, and genuine Austrian Crystal to accent.
Their metals consist of raw brass or copper. Each shape or disk is cut and rolled out with our propriety textures. All of our jewelry is Lead free and Cadmium free. All of our jewelry is soldered, never glued.
They use three distinct color processes in the finishing of our jewelry. There will be slight color variations in the jewelry due to the different textures on the metal and how each process adheres to a particular piece of metal.
Based in San Diego California, Green Tree Jewelry was founded by Lance Nybye Sr. and his son Lance Nybye Jr. to provide affordable fun jewelry from sustainable resources in the USA.
Lance Jr. & Sr. stumbled upon the idea of Green Tree Jewelry after a fire consumed their previous business of laser engraving bats. The bat business never made a full comeback after the 2008 San Diego wildfires, so they had to find a way to reinvent themselves. While attending weekend craft shows and weeknight street fairs, they had the idea of using their laser engravers to make wood earrings. The product has come a long way from where it started and they are proud to offer not only earrings, but bracelets, pendants, switch plates, and clocks as well.
Lance Jr., Green Trees designer, is laser focused on the smallest details. He is constantly improving the manufacturing process and product design. His inspiration for all his Green Tree products come from one main root. The symbolic reasoning of the mind, whether it be, a design, animal, or any symbolic representation it must invoke a positive response. One of his favorite things to hear is, "I have never received so many compliments on my earrings”. Ultimately, he cares most about the customer being happy, offering unique products to the marketplace and growing his business organically.
My Favorite Things was a dream-child between Tina Basich-Haller and her mother in order to have a space to share their artwork and creativity with others. In 2005 Tina opened her first store in Nevada City California… if you love some bling… we have some for you!
